Review of Affiliate Marketing Platforms

If you are an online retailer or e-commerce focused company you probably already have or are seriously considering launching an affiliate marketing program. Affiliate marketing is an affordable, low commitment and highly efficient way to increase website traffic and ultimately generate more sales from your website.


As a freelance marketing consultant here in Seattle, WA I am often asked by clients to recommend vendors. Recently I was asked to review affiliate marketing networks that would be good for my client who is a small, e-commerce businesses here in Seattle. They also wanted affiliate marketing program support, help in getting affiliates signed on and assistance with program optimization.

ShareASale.com – Easy as an affiliate to get signed up and approved.  Not as easy to get merchants signed on. Easy to use platform. $100 minimum monthly fee for merchants. 2500+ merchants. Good support for merchants.


PepperJam.com - Somewhat tricky to get approved as an affiliate. Support minimal for affiliates. $100 minimum monthly fee for merchants. 600+ merchants to choose from. Good support for merchants.


AffiliateFuture.com – Easy as an affiliate to get signed up and approved and to get merchants signed on. Platform is robust and easy to use. $500 minimum monthly fee for merchants. 500+ high quality merchants makes Affiliate Future the leader in the industry.  Added support and service from account management.


LinkShare.com – Easy as an affiliate to sign up but difficult to get merchants signed on. Platform is robust and easy to use. $500 minimum monthly fee for merchants. 200+ very high quality merchants with LinkShare making it a highly desirable program for affiliates. Added support and service from account management.
